Another project for course improvement. (Completed on Sat. Oct. 23rd)
The work bee went ahead today. The backhoe came at 10 and we all crossed our finger that no under ground line would be hit. It was rainy.
George brought the donuts and water to give us a wet day boost.
Phyllis came through and brought soup and buns for lunch.
All went well and we will find out later on in the year if the drains design works. Thanks George, Phyllis, Ron, Mike Frank, Jim, Don, Bill for pitching in to make this a success on a rainy day.

Ladysmith Golf Club was officially opened in June 1980, but the groundwork had been laid a few years earlier. After obtaining an initial grant from the Government of $35,000 and $10,000 from the Legion, Rotary Club and an army of volunteers began work. The golf course is owned by the Town of Ladysmith and is operated & managed by the Ladysmith Golf Club Society, a nonprofit society run by a volunteer board of directors.
Today, everyone from the age of six and up is welcome to enjoy this beautiful course. The nine-hole par 3 course takes approximately one hour to play, but is quite challenging. There are two ravines to drive over, and the greens are large and tricky. The course will test your short iron game and you’re putting skills.
