2022 Annual Junior Golf clinic.
We had 13 participants who enjoyed 4 sessions of golf basics training. They also had time to play several holes keeping their individual scores. The Ladysmith Golf Club volunteers support and enjoy this program that introduces the game of golf to our local youth.
Volunteers were Mike Smith, Grayson McDonald , Graham Seal-Jones and Jim Cram and Joan Crawford, who was the meet and greet treat lady. (Joan also took Picture above)
Joan also made the Award Certificates listing the volunteers on the certificates and expressed best whishes from our team. All the kids were really happy with the program .
Only 13 kids this year but we had a blast . Joan had lemonade and a treats like freezes and mini chocolate bars they all enjoyed the treats on their last day . We gave each of them a certificate for completing the program and 1 all day pass.
One little incident, a 9 year old student decided she only needed a putter
so, as luck would have it she made a pretty nice drive with her putter,
then chipped on and sank her put for a bogey.
Needless to say, she then decided she didn't need any other clubs to golf!
